It's about that time!!!
Saturday, October 15th at 9:00am in Milam Park for the WALK FOR THE CURE. If anyone is interested in walking, please PM me for more information. THE MORE THE MERRIER!

Okay, it's time to dust off your tennis shoes for a GREAT cause!!! Taking part in the Walk is a great experience. Not only will you be making a real difference in helping to find a cure that will change the lives of millions... you'll be having FUN, and getting a good workout too!

The 5K Walk for a Cure is this Saturday, October 15th @9:00am at Milam Park (downtown @ 501 W Commerce).
If you are interested in walking (or running) with us, we have a team called "Joey's Joggers." Please go to http://walk.jdrf.org/walker.cfm?id=86268349 to register before Friday (that way you don't have to get up even earlier to register the day of) :zzz

Researchers are so close to a cure and that's why this is such a crucial time, and why I'm asking you to join me in walking, and raising money that will speed these scientists toward that cure. Every walker, and every dollar, brings us that much closer. If you are unable to attend the walk but would still like to help, YOU ARE NEEDED!!! $5, $10, ANY amount helps and you can call me to pick up your donation before the walk or go online and make a donation directly to the JDRF at www.walk.jdrf.org and select Kimberly or Donavin Harkin.

Sorry I am unable to walk those kind of distances at the moment (hopefully soon ). I will get on an donate under your names though. Some way I missed this originally until just now.

Hopefully everyone that reads this can get on and at least donate a couple of bucks, less than a couple of gallons of gasoline. :(

Good luck with the walk and hope they raise a bundle for this cause.

The website is deceiving. It only shows money that has been donated online or turned in ahead of time. We're bringing most of our donations to the walk with us and giving them over then.
