Thread: Distilled water?!?!?!

    Default Distilled water?!?!?!

    Im doing about a 25% water change, but i need to know if it is ok to used distilled water since it is treated with RO.... all i need to add is the salt right, not the dechlorinator...?

    Not all distilled water is made the same it seems. You should make sure that it has, indeed, gone through a RO process. I always read exactly how it has been filtered.

    You will not have to use dechlorinator on distilled water.

    I have used the Osarka destilled whater many times, nothing died, LOL..Just add the salt.

    You might want to get a hand held TDS meter and check the water before using. If you don't have one, you may be able to borrow one from someone.

    I will have one on Friday of this week if you want to borrow mine to check out your water source.
