    Default canon Power shot G5

    Ok you guys keep having these awsome pics <_< :P I have a canon Power Shot G5 does anybody know how to get those good shots on this camera??? I can barely get it to focus through the glass.

    Hold the lens up to the glass, or use a lens hood and put that up to the glass. Putting it up to the glass will hold it more steady.

    Set your white balance so the color looks the most natural, or at least not all blue.

    Push the shutter button down half way to let it auto focus. If it looks good, take the shot. If it doesnt look good, find out why.

    Make sure you are in Macro mode(the little flower icon). Rem. on some cameras the macro mode only works in wide angle(not zoomed in)

    If your macro mode stays on through the whole zoom, start with the lens zoomed out, try to focus, zoom in a little, refocus, zoom a little more and refocus again. Do this untill it wont focus any more and then back off the zoom a little and refocus for the shot.

    You can also use a magnifying glass to get a little closer to the action also.
