OK, it's that time again. Time to refill my calcium reactor. I have been using ARM media the past two years and it has been working fairly well. The only problem I have had is after about 4-5 months it builds up a large amount of "dust" particles.
Is anyone using anything different with better success? Koralith media, or some of the larger size medias they use in the schuran reactors?
I was also thinking about adding some Magnesium Pro to the reactor to keep my mg levels consistent. Here is a link:
Magnesium Pro
Anyone with experience with this? I want to make sure it will dissolve at the same PH level with the media type I use to maintain consistent levels all around.
