    #2 could be die off if it's new rock. Smell it, if it stinks it's dead and should be scrubbed off.

    Sorry, I should have clarified.

    There are 10's to 100's of these tiny things on the glass & macroalgae in my refugium &, upon watching closely I saw that they're alive & moving.

    Both pics are of the same kind of thing & they're mostly red looking from plain eyesight

    I thought they moved very slowly until I tried to take those pics under high magnification

    Yeah, those polyps look kind of like majano. They are so cute when they are young but ugly when they are older (at least mine are).
    Plenums and ultra deep sand beds > all other setups!

    Yep, that's a flat worm. Don't panic. Its hard to tell from that pic if its the common red flatworm a lot of people have. They don't really cause any problems other then reproducing like crazy sometimes. Here's some info on it.
