Thread: Fiberglass screen?

    Default Fiberglass screen?

    Hola,

The PVC pipe connecting my refug. to the sump does not have any type of screening to keep little things from getting out so I bought some fiberglass screen for screen doors the other day for about $6. Do you forsee any problems with fiberglass being in my tank to cover that hole? I figured it would be OK but haven't put it in yet...

I've already noticed some copepods in the main tank that I don't think were there before as well as a few single "grapes" on various rocks that I think transferred through from the Grape Caulerpa (Caulerpa racemosa) in the refug. Not positive it's Caulerpa since they're just singlular but they are green & round...

    Thx,

No problem with the fiberglass but it will get clogged easily.

The single "grapes" could be bubble algae.
