BTA lodging itself in a hole and shrinkin?

my BTA is acting weird. i got him about 2 weeks ago, and has been fine up until tonight. i always turn off the PC light at 9pm, and the anctinic at 10pm. the BTA hasnt dislodged, but seems to be working his way into the crevice hes anchored to. help!

nitrites - 0
nitrates - .05
pH - 8.1
temp - 79F
salinity checked w/ refractometer - 1.023

well, i changed the rockwork around a little and moved the BTA, and now hes fluffing up. guess he wanted more current. my clowns are happy and hosting in him again
