Default Mares MC1 rgbm dive computer

Does anybody have this dive comp??? I got one off of ebay and it didn't come with the manual, I have tried contacting the manufacture but still no reply. If you have this dive comp and the manual I would like to make a copy of the manual at kinkos or somewere.

    Thanks
    Dan

I suggest you go to www.scubaboard.com, register, and then search the dive computer forum. You'll find tons of information, and lots of people that have experience with this computer. Last time i looked there were something like 37,000 registered users on scubaboard.

RGBM computers are typically more conservative than ones based on the haldanean (sp?) algorithm. The most popular modified RGBM computers are suunto, which have a reputation for being quite conservative. The difference is especially noticable on repetitive dives with reverse profiles; on one test in a scenario like that the haldanean computers read over an hour of NDL while the RGBM read 2 minutes. It's a little scary when you think about trusting your computer; they can't both be right.
