blue reef chromis are awesome looking fish,schooling also.also another fish that i think is awesome that you will probably think plain is the bangaii cardinal.they are cool looking when in groups.

I have an Orchid Dottyback (fridmani Pseudo) that is beautiful...bothers no one and no one bothers him. In fact, he is so fuschia, I have a hard time getting a focused pic of him cause it looks like he's glowing. He is always out. Orchid has a black stripe across his eyes - different from a Purple Dottyback...they're mean. My Orchid is in with a 6 Line, Regal Tang, Yellow Tang, Naso tang, Mandarin, 2 Purple Firefish, Flamehawk, 4 clowns, etc. I have a great community tank. No probs with anyone. I'll try & get a pic if I can.
My firefish don't hide either...they school right in front of tank. I'd get another firefish - they school and are more active.
