Video camera repair??

Anyone know of a good place for video camera repair. I have a sony digital video camera (8mm) that has a problem. The tape is stuck in between the eject position and the "in use" position. I took the outer cover off and can see the tape has broken. I would really like to be able to fix th tape also. Has anyone heard of fixing torn video tapes, or know of a place that can at least fix my camera? The tape has some huge memories on it and I really want the tape fixed bad. Talk to all you MAASTARDS later.

This is Roy, SBreef. How old is the camera? I should be able to get the tape out and see what is wrong with the camcorder. If it should need more repair, I could send you to a couple of shops in town. As for the tape, You could then try Matson Multi media.

Sorry Roy I am just seeing your reply. The camera is a few years old, maybe 3 or so. Wish I had seen your post sooner. My camera is just sitting on a table, useless. Anything I could try to do?
