Lights for 10g with zoos and mushrooms

Ummm, because it was kind of an experiment to start with. Lets just say it involved a cut up hood a couple tie wraps and some free parts. I didn't expect it too last long.

I don't know, hubby got free stuff and decided he could make it work. It did..... for awhile. Then it started to shoot sparks out the base where the bulb plugs in. But only when you first start it up, so he said it was fine. Then it started to not light up unless you took it off the tank and let it dry out for an hour or two before you started it up. Then we put glass tops on the tank to keep the excess moisture out and that worked for a couple days. Then the above two events started again. Now it's just dead. He is going to kill me for posting this. I may have to delete it before 8 am Israel time.

No, dont delete, youre doing the right thing by coming here for help. Unplug the lights from the wall, remove the endcaps,,, let them dry overnight., re-install tomorrow, go from there.
