Should be just fine. Im running a CV 10k offa Blue Wave 3 HQI M-80 with no problems.

I would like to try this lightng. I have the PFO HQI ballast.
Guess I just need the lamp and a new pendant.

You're welcome! Shoot Greg Houston (360reef) on this board a PM, he's a CV rep and can probably get you the best deal on a bulb and pendant. By the way, our own RobertG is running the CV 14k's on his 240, I saw them Saturday and they look sweet! 250 watters...
