POS jebo 220 light system

I manged to break a bulb while i was trying to get it back on b/c it slips out of its end cap on its own. :angry

Its a 4 pin single sided cap. Is there a better type of bulb I can put in it.
My poor seabea is really going to suffer under only 110 W of 10k daylight.

Does anyone Know if they are on a closed loop b/c the other bulb is not working either now that i took the broken one out. Any help or advice appreciated.

im guessing you have straight pin bulbs, there are also square pin bulbs which are much better imo, and the connector locks in the bulb.

usually to make wiring easier and faster the bulbs are in series. meaning if one is not in there, there is a short, and the other bulb wont light up. you can temporially jump the pins together, completing the circuit.

you can always rewire the fixture if you want to have square pin connectors and parallel circuits.
