I use my finger nail because you have the advantage of feeling as the Anemone starts letting go and when he doesn't. One thing about anemone's they go where they want and destroy as they go. I have only one left because of this problem. Good luck and enjoy

this of course is not a flame... just my 2ยข
    LOL...I knew that it wasn't a flame! ;)
The way I look at it (*especially with RBTAs) is that they will travel to whatever place in the tank makes them the happiest. I figure if I'm going to stick these creatures in a glass box, I should at *least* let them go where they are happy - yes, it's nice to have "visually appealing" also, but the way I look at it, that's part of our jobs as reefkeepers...keeping the critters happy. Of course we no longer keep anemones, as I wouldn't have the heart to move one...even if it decided to park itself next to a favorite coral colony. I DO think they are beautiful...in other people's tanks :lol

Use a credit card and slowly lift it from the glass, then move it to a place in the back of the tank that you like. More than likely it will move a little, but IME RBTA don't move around too much.

My rbta is still on the move after more than a month. I'd worry if it wasnt looking as good as it is.

From that picture it appears as tho it is receiving enough light for it to stay put on the glass. We have one of these in a 210 and it moves around a lot.. we probably need to find a more light-ready position for it, but he's too docile and never stays put.

Shade em', and he'll move.. where, I don't really know.
