Yep, I have had those nudibranch before. All my zoos closed up and looked bad. I would suck dozens of them out with a turkey baster. Eventually they caused me to lose lots of nice colonies. The biggest ones I ever killed were about .5" long

great pics/post Josh...thanks
I have lost my favorite zoo colony and I have spent a few hours looking at night for theses guys but have not found any :angry
Yikes! :o
With all the pest problems people have been having lately, we decided to order some Lugol's. I hope that will take care of any of the "nasties" that come in on corals!
This makes me want to go stare at the zoa colonies now. Are they pretty easy to see? Do they feed mostly at night, or during the day? :unsure

I was able to see mine at night and during the day. Look for zoos that are closed.
I dip everything that comes in with Lugols.Good stuff
Josh...can you give more details on the dip procedure that you use? How much water to lugols or do you recommend reefdip? Also how long do you dip for?
I nominate Josh for official MAAST Pest Exterminator! :skeezy
Thanks for the info Josh, gives me something else to look for now! I think I'll dip my entire tank contents before moving over to the new tank. :(
