    Default New Test

ok i know i am going to be ridiculed for this but i just put a small clown trigger in my little reef tank. right now it consists of some green stars candy canes and a galaxia. there are many snails, crabs, and hermits. so far so good but its only been afew hours. when we get our new house in a month we are setting up a 135 gallon reef and he will be one of the residents. so here is my test i am going to try a AGRESSIVE REEF. Not real sure how it will work but i think it could be cool o yeah pics are good but tank was dirty.

At a certain point in a Clown's life it turns evil. The do mean things like kill for fun, move rocks, etc.

Good Luck! The Clown is my favorite Trigger.

There is nothing wrong with putting small fish (that are going to get big) in small tanks, its a good way to get them to eat, and a good way to make sure they are eating, but its cool as long as you have plans of moving him to a bigger tank when the fish gets bigger ..

I have had a clown trigger that was reef safe. The only problem you will have in the future will be nitrates and the fact he will have to be in a tank by himself. I have had several, buy them small, when they get big sell them because they will get too aggressive. The largest I have had before getting aggresive was 6" and the last was 4 1/2". Enjoy him, clown triggers are the most interesting fish in the trade.

Oh my gawd that is sooo mean, poor fish! :roll
    Kidding...
He's fine for now because he's tiny, however we will call the fish cops on you if you dont upgrade his place of residence when he's bigger. He is a really cute fish(for now) enjoy him while he's small and peaceful.

Would a clown trigger do ok with a puffer? Are they both mean enough to stay out of eachother's way? Sorry to derail :(
