Default Coral Reef Bazaar - Introduction

    Greetings,

Melinda and I, in association with Tim Marvin, would like to officially announce the opening of Coral Reef Bazaar.

We will be specializing in “hard to find” dry good items that are not usually carried in your LFS. We will carry in-stock Loc Line products and AquaFX filters.

We are authorized resellers of Off the Reef skimmers as well as AquaFX, Loc-line and US Plastics products.

We will offer special group buy opportunities from time-to-time.

We will be selling corals and coral frags. These will be listed on our web site (coming soon).

We will not be stocking fish but we can special order “hard to find” fish that are prepaid from time-to-time.

Free local delivery within the Austin area is available (call for specifics). Shipping and Handling charges will be accessed on all other shipments.

If you live in Texas, you will be required to pay sales tax.

We are not a replacement for your LFS and we encourage you to continue to do business with these stores.

We look forward to the opportunity of doing business with you.

    Sincerely,

    Frederick

Just wanted to say that Frederick and Melinda are two of the nicest, coolest most genuine people we've ever met. I'm sure they will be great to do business with! I know I look forward to doing business with them myself.

Frederick's even held our two year old monster...errr... son, and anyone that will attempt that is worthy of my respect :P

Well, in my last shipment of corals I received a Flower Pot (Goniopora lobata) coral. This is an extremely difficult coral to keep alive as you have to supply it with phyloplankton. It will not last in my frag tank so I am looking for an experienced reefer than would like to take this coral off of my hands. I am sure it will do much better in a tank that is not overcrowded with frags. If you would be interested in this coral, PM me (the sooner the better). I would even be willing to trade it for a small frag of something you have.

I might try the goni as long as it's not the dreaded green flowerpot variety, G.dijboutiensis, which are the hardest to keep. I currently have an encrusting red goni and a common green alveo that I've had for some time doing well.

    Still working on web site.

Mike, this is the metallic green (looks like it has a little blueish tinges to it). If you send me your email address, I can send you a photo of it.
