Hey, well...i recently (today..lol) discovered that my angler isnt a Histiophryne cryptacanthus, but a Histiophryne bougainvilli. You may say, "so?"..lol..well, it makes it 10 times more exotic and rare. Cryptacanthus have the same body, no rod, no lure, but have tiny dots all over their body, mine has a coralline covered face, and big purple spots all over..this is a picture of my angler, next to one from Japan ( where they run $300 dollars up)...All i wanted was a wartskin or a colored angler..never thought it would be this rare..crazy!..
