Does it contain copper? If so, I wouldn't let it get anywhere near my tank. It may be chelated copper and they are claiming it is "safe." Richard at CB would be a good one to ask about this. he's the best when it comes to disease and treatment.

I would never treat the main tank. Too many possible problems.

If you have already used it, make sure you follow the directions. They should tell you when to do a water change.
Be careful of die off in the LR and LS.
