    Default Morish Idol

I picked this guy up saturday at Alamo, seems quite healthy and happy, likes to swim around with the tang. Here is a pic i took today of him eating nori from a vegi clip. He also seems to like mysis and brine, as well as flake. Will keep you posted as to his health, wish me luck.

My girlfriend wanted that fish for our 380 and the previous Morish Idol that Alamo had but I've heard if you get them to live a year you've done good, which to me is bad since they live much longer then that in the wild.

Good luck for the sake of the fish.

Those fish are very beautiful, I used to love seeing them swim around in Waikiki. Congo rats on the fish ^_^

Keep an eye on him everyday to make sure he is eating. I had one (hadn't told anyone on here yet) that died. He ate all the time, was big and fat and one of the first fish I put in the tank. As I started populating the tank I stopped worry about him specifically, then one day I noticed that he was getting skinny. He wouldn't eat and there was nothing I could do. I would recommend haveing a second tank so that if he stops eating you can put him in there and throw every kind of food you can find at him. You really can't do this in your main tank without throwing everything out of wack and messing your water up. Felipe from FIN-ADDICT told me never to turn my back on him...as in stop paying attention to what he is doing and if he's eating....and thats what I did :cry . If you have any questions PM me or Jenn, she has one and I had mine for a couple of months. Good luck!!
