Definately agree on the false sense of security. I had issues with my electronic temp gauge and my ph meter. I found the ph meter gave false readings once the battery started to get a little week. Took awhile to figure that out. Then with my temp. gauge I noticed it started reading kind of low. When I tested it with a good old glass thermometer, I found it was over 12 degrees off! My tank was getting way too hot. Fortunately I discovered this before it went too long.

I ordered one in the group order and it was way out of whack. Temps at 110, pH at 4. I sent it back, and they sent a replacement which has worked fine.

One thing I like about it is that it is really bright and clear compared to the Pinpoint monitors. The doors on my cabinet are smoked glass, and I can easily see it through that.

I also ordered one in the group order. Waited till I got the 180 up - haven't had a prob so far...seems to be doing ok...
