Yes, THANK YOU ALL! YOU GUYS ROCK.

Nice to have people who have moved MANY big tanks.

Also nice to have Dan the Man there to take care of the bulk heads in the BOTTOM that I forgot about!

Ditto on Blake's dream system. From seeing and taking apart his old system my guess would be a large swimming pool for a fuge. :o

Killed my first coral in 1991, have tried to do better since. Always tricky.

Well, we are waiting to see which lot we will be getting and from there, I will have a little better idea. If we get the lot I want, the house will have a large walk-out basement and there will be no size limitations. I was thinking about this: A corner tank that extends 8ft along each wall from the corners. One wall will be a reef tank with the other being a FOWLR tank. I want the tank though to look like it is all one tank. Probably put a separator between them and hook the whole thing up as one system with a nice air conditioned fish room behind the wall. Still in the early planning stages. It will take a minimum of 6-9 months to get the house built from what I have been told. We are supposed to find out about the lot by the end of the week so I will know more then.

Sorry I couldn't make it. Glad to hear everything went well. My dryer broke and the wife said fix it or go naked. Being fairly sure no one would want that (or even the mental image, sorry), I opted to stay home and fix it. I did get mine moved off the stand to seal the top. Called in the neighbors for this one. They saw the 90 in the garage and thought that was it. Suprise! It is this other one. I really thought some of them might leave.

Blake, sounds like an outstanding idea...you have plenty of time to work it all out. What an opportunity to do actually what you want from scratch.
