How much sand and live rock would you put in a Fish Only Tank.

    It's 75 Gallons with a 20 gallon sump.

    Sand or Crushed coral?

The fish will be 1 Spiny Puffer and maybe an eel.

I would use one 50lbs bag of sand and 30-35 lbs of rock. Grow plants in the tank instead of setting up a refugium.

Well if you use rock then it will be a FOWLR...Fish only with live rock

I would use at least 50 lbs. of live rock ( it also depends on what kind of skimmer you will have on the system)

definitly use aragonite instead of crushed coral and keep it stirred up

We have 60 pounds of sand and 100 pounds of LR in a 55 gallon if that gives you a reference.

in my tank i have fish only. i have a 135 with 90 pounds of agronite and right now 100 pounds of lr but soon there will be 200+ pounds of lr in there. i am running a 29 gal fuge. and a 25 gal wet dry. im my tank i have puffers and eels and triggers. you need to stir the sand cause if not you get some crazy nitrate levles. mine were at 160 but have since gone down alot.
