Most know the ordeal. I can get set in my ways at times. I will say I have no problem with Alex. I do not dislike or mean any harm to him or his name. I just cant stand to know there could be a snake in the grass, so to speak. Not that he is but people change with a little bit of authority. He just brought the things out that I have bit my tongue on before.

I did not handle this with the best tact, he got me going. I do think I have a very valid point worth mentioning. However I could of done it in another way. The open forum was not the place. So for this, I apologize for the purse swinging I have been accussed of. I feel someone should of done it before this. I see it & call what I see. I have been known to speak my mind, also if you have no stance on anything who are you? I just made a simple request that I have never thought being a big deal. Just going by the examples I have seen in the past year. It has been done & never any issue.

Ed really did my homework for me. I knew there was something that was not right. It is simple for me & the others with the same concern to see it now. I am not alone.

I Apologize & hope to still be welcome. If not I am a big boy & can take it

Hey man, are you getting all soft on us now. Just kidding. It's an admirable thing for to make this post. I see you have adopted some of the terminology used ("purse swinging", "big boy"), these were not meant to demean or offend you. I have to be honest, I did use them and the "panties" thing to give you a hard time. Like you, I take a stance on something and speak my mind. Hopefully everybody will settle down now. Sorry if I stirred things up a bit.

Speaking for myself, I enjoy your presence here on the board, and as a friend. We should never have to fear speaking our minds...maybe with a bit more decorum than what has transpired over the last day or two, but nonetheless, it is a basic human right. We all can't agree on everything (as well we shouldn't - this is what makes us individuals), but we can try our best to be civil about it. I think it took a lot of guts on your part to apologise in this open forum, rather than just walk away. (Kudos!! ;) )

I read this quote by Doug Floyd that kinda rings true in this case:
"You don't get harmony when everybody sings the same note"
