Default WHERE ARE ALL MY SHRIMP GOING

there is one question i would liek to ask. i had 3 cleaner shrimp and 2 fire shrimp. then there was one dead fire shrimp the other day as in tore apart only thing left was piece of head and piece of a tail. and then this mornig when i woke up there were only a fire shrimp and a cleaner shrimp. NO evidence of the other 2 exsisting ANYWHERE except for 2 shrimp feelers. all the fish in my tank are the same ones that have exsisted with the shrimp for 3-4 months now. only thing i have different in there is the live rock. but the rock was in my 135 for 2-3 months and i had no problem with the fish over there dissaperaing. got any good ideas on what could be happpening. the biggest fish in the tank is a dragon goby who wont even eat shrimp if i put live ghost or frozen krill in the tank he is about 2 inches long. rest of the fish are passive and no more than an inch. the shrimp that are dead or missin all together were anywhere from 1.5 in to 2 in. they didnt molt that i know of cause there is no shell like there has been in the past. seems like i only start missing things when the lights go out.

I'm no expert, but if you have a preditor tank then your preditors will eat your shrimp. If you have a moray eel in the other tank, then he is eating your shrimp. If you had 5 shrimp in your eclipse, then thats to many.

How are your water params in the tank with the cleaner shrimp? If the shrimp die from inappropriate water params, then hermit crabs and/or other scavengers will surely take advantage and "clean up". This is the only thing I can think of other than maybe a mantis that survived in the predator tank getting inadvertantly transferred over to your passive tank. The fish you have in your passive tank wouldn't eat those shrimp.
