As long as you have the water parameters for SPS, any clam should do fine. They actually like slightly higher nitrates and many frag farmers use them as a sort of biological filter. Smaller clams are mostly filter feeders. They get more photosynthetic as they grow. I'd suggest you go to a clams direct or on of the other good clam sites and do some research.
