Correct steveo - i am about 99% sure that that is how it is set up (1 built-in overflow box w/ 2 holes -1big, 1 smaller). The reason i asked that question is because someone had said that i should drain down to my sump with both holes and pump the water back up elsewhere? sound like a bad idea??

I would use one hole for a return just because it is cleaner. If both are drains then you have to make sure that they are exactly level, otherwise one will drain and the other will not, then what's the point. I have seen setups with all the holes being drains and haveing the returns come over the back. In my opinion it just looks a little messy. To much extra pipe for what benefit? More turnover? If you go with a mag 7 internal, as someone stated above, that will not be a problem. One drain should be enough for what you are doing.
