Default Our peppermint shrimp is retarded!!

Okay, so we brought this guy home Saturday. (I'll try to make this long story short) He was doing great, running around the tank, chowing down. Well, Sunday morning he's MIA. We looked around all day and couldn't find him... until in the afternoon my husband looked up the powerhead. There he was, stuck up inside the intake of our big PH. So I'm freaking out cause I know he's dead, and we argue about who's going to get him out. I took the powerhead off the tank wall and plop - out comes our shrimp - and he starts swimming! I couldn't believe that crazy shrimp was alive.

So he did good the rest of the day yesterday, and as soon as I turned the lights off last night there he goes zooming around the tank again. (BTW, we put pantyhose around the intake so he wouldn't get sucked up again).

This morning, where do I find him? Stuck on the filter intake! Stupid shrimp! So we turn it off, and he starts moving, but he stays put! I had to nudge him off the intake thingy to get him away from it. This intake is one of those tapered things with holes in it, so he wasn't sucked up inside, just on the side of it.

THEN.... not five mins later Danny calls me in and says, "Look at the fish..." And there's our crazy shrimp, ON our coral beauty angel. She even swam around and he stuck on her. Now my question is, is this a bad thing, or do shrimp usually piggyback the fish in the tank? I know they'll clean them, but I've always seen the shrimp just hang out on a rock and clean from there. I don't know if this stressed my fish or not. And ideas?

    Crazy shrimp :P

This is normal for cleaner shrimp to do this and technically peppermint shrimp could choose to do this if they want... but i've never had a peppermint shrimp clean fish.

My fire shrimp doesn't seem to be doing much fish cleaning, but that peppermint shrimp is going after it. I was just shocked to see the crazy guy ON my fish! LOL...
