I was finding it difficult to find 18 guage solid copper wire for my T5's and MH DIY project

What I ended up doing was to buy the thermostat wire (18/3) then just taking the outer casing off. It was much cheaper and is available in 3,5,7 wire strands. Which mean 3,5 or 7 wire colors inside the casing.

I just thought someone might benefit from my 5 trips and 10 phone calls if they knew it was available at the local hardware store
