Default antique aquarium air pump (not amazing but cool)

Man I bought this house 4 years ago and still find things from time to time. The people that lived here died here of old age and their son took things that would sell easy but left everything else. This house was moved here in 1942 so its pretty old and there was lots of "stuff" (junk)
Anyways I found a old metal framed aquarium and a old piston type air pump made by Oscar company. I know its old because the piston has a leather seal instead of rubber o-ring type seal and it had a leather belt but it slung in pieces when I plugged it in. Still works great and puts out 9psi before the belt slips (used vacuum cleaner belt)! Pretty cool though kinda worthless as its **** loud!

I saw a couple of metal framed aquariums in FA's back room. That brought back some memories of when I got started doing FW as a kid.

I had one of those: polished metal trim with black goop to seal ... ah, the good old days when 75% water changes were required just to keep your guppies alive

Anybody remember those sit in the corner bubble filters filled with charcoal and "Angel Hair" ... that was some cool technology man! 8)

What do you mean remember, I'm still running one in my SPS tank. I told you I'm a low tech, old school reefer. How big would it have to be for your system?

Wow. That is too cool. That would make a great conversation piece in the Living Room.
