    Default icecap430 trouble

Does anyone in S.A. have a ballast that i can just plug into my lights, they won't turn on and I'm suspecting a bad ballast. Any help is greatly appriciated.

Did you try rotating your bulbs to make sure they are making good contact? That's usually the problem with VHO's.

True Joshua, I have sent my ballasts in a couple of times. They have excellent service with about a 24 hr turn around. They charge $50 if not under warranty.

What was the brand name on the bulbs you have? Are they labeled URI or Ultraviolet Light Company?

Apparently URI has changed names, been bouthgt out, or something. I have had a lot of problems getting these new bulbs labeled Ultraviolet Light Company to fire. I was given a couple of them and thought that one was just bad. I got it replaced and the same thing. They were not in the regular protective sleeve that you get them in at the LFS. I finally broke down and bought one a "URI" bulb at a LFS. When I got it home the sleeve said URI but the bulb said Ultraviolet Light Comapny. Does anyone know anything about this? I'm scratching my head now wondering if its the bulb or something else in my setup.
