A meat tenderizer poultice will work as a substitute due to its ease of mobility when away from home.

I'm more likely to have urine with me than meat tenderizer ;) never leave home without it

Or you could just leave it alone and ignore it. I got stung (while body boarding) in hawaii by about 6 man of wars (hate those things) and i just take them off and ignore them. I guess after awhile you get used to them and they dont really bother you. They burn at first but after awhile you almost never notice them on you the next time you get stung...well thats ime...never tried meat tenderizer ill keep that in mind on next time i get stung.

I got stung in the neck and had an allergic reaction! Don't think I could've ignored it! ;)
