Hey guys, I'm home every night but Wednesday if you want to try to come by! Just give me a call.
Also, I have 3 or 4 people who would buy yours if you have changed your mind. I can refund you and sell it to them.

Here is a message from Joe at Reef Fanatic.
I am encouraged by Joe's willingness to correct the problem, and believe that all you need to do is return the probe if you are having problems. Shipping is only like $2.For those that are having problem with the probe they can mail it back
to us for replacement. There's no need to send the base unit back.
There is a new version of the probe. The old probe that you have is also a good probe. However, the manufacture that makes the probe just cannot follow our instruction on the quality control. The problem with the pH probe is due to poor QC and bad glue from the manufacture, not the quality of the component used.
I cannot stop people from saying what they want to say when they are
not happy. The only thing I can do is try to correct the problem as
quickly as humanly possible. It's not possible for me to correct this problem overnight.

Also, if you are not happy and want to part with your probe, let me know. There were several people who wanted to buy one. I can respond to them and see if they are interested.
I hope this helps,
Bryan

I am having a problem with the Ph probe, but Hey no biggie. Thanks for working with us.
My probe has not read right yet, I would like to try to recalibrate it but only had the initial calibration fluids. If we want to exchange it for the updated probe do we send it back ourselves or do you have to send it back for us?

You just send it back. I would email Joe first. I of some others that have already sent theirs back. It should cost around $2.

I just sent both of mine back yesterday (had purchased two units). One of my temperture probes would read between 208 and 213 degrees F regardless of which base unit it was plugged into. The other temperature units was 4.5 degrees off. One of the pH probes would drop down to below 4 even after being calibrated. The other would have major swings in it, enough so that if it were correct, everything in my tank should be dead. However, my Purple Tang and all of my corals are doing great so I can't believe that it could be correct.
Anyway, have sent them back and will let ya'll know how the replacement units work.

Well, I received my replacement probes yesterday in the mail. Very fast turn-around! Popped in the temperture probes and verified them with my mercury therometer. They are both spot on. I will have to pick up some calibration fluids for the pH meters before I will be able to install them.
More to follow...

My probe was working well untill yesterday. All of a sudden, my ph was reading 9.6 and then 3.2. I tested with a spare ph meter and it read 8.2. Good thing I didn't make any adjustments. Needless to say, I'll be sending my probe in for replacement. You would figure they would send some calibration fluid to calibrate the new probe.
Don't put the price on the bag please.
Well they don't. So I am going to have to get some before I can check out my new pH probes.
I was impressed with the quick turn-around but was disappointed that they didn't include the calibration fluid. I am guessing that it would cost Reef Fanatic extra, and the manufacturer didn't pony any up, so that is why they didn't send any.
