Thread: Leaving a tank fallow

    Default Leaving a tank fallow

due to illness i need to leave my display tank fallow for a couple of months. I've got my surviving fish in a hospital tank for now, but i've left my hermit crabs, snails, cleaner and fire shrimps in my display tank.

Can i leave the inverts in the display tank, while at the same time not providing the parasites that affected my fish a host to survive? Or do in need to pull them out too.

Leave the inverts in the tank. Inverts are not hosts for most fish parasites.
