    Default Howdy from Houston!

    Hiya!

I am an active member of a "sister" site of this one called MARSH, operating out of Houston, TX. (www.marshreef.com) I have some good news for those of you who like to breathe under water!

I have just completed setting up a discussion site for SCUBA people. If interested, you can access it at:

    http://www.wildfire-tech.com/diving/

It's basic ( a message board for right now ), but it's a start. And for those of you who dive, I am SERIOUS about getting in the water either the end of this month, or the beginning of April. I am getting all of my gear re-certed this next week, and then am going to start hunting for a good diving spot (hopefully NOT the Blue Lagoon in Hunstville... shudder....)

    Your friendly neighborhood DiveMaster.

I hope to be able to share experiences in Reef Keeping (I've got a 265 gallon mixed reef set up so far... now I'm looking for a big tank) and also to find some people who might be interested in some weekend or single-day dive trips around southern Texas.....

    Thanks for letting me intrude!

You don't have time to dive Dan! Now, get back in the garage and make some more sumps.

I dive, mostly in Cozumel, but I'll check out the site. I keep wanting to do some rig dives. Maybe this summer we can get together down there.

Cozumel is beautiful...first and only place I've ever seen wild dolphins. Of course, not having a barrier reef, you get to see all the bigger critters - sharks included. Oh, some *big* 'cudas too. I'd love to go back there, but another trip to Belize wouldn't be too bad either. :roll
