OR if you have an old cell phone charger, portable phone base power supply, or other electronic gizmo that uses one of the plug in transformers -- that black, grey or white boxy thingy you plug into the wall!!!! they have the voltage and current stmaped into the plastic....look on the fan and it should say something to the effect of 12vdc 30ma.... you want to find one of those black grey or white boxy things that says 12vdc and any number larger than 30 ma or 30 va or .03 A most of the chargers/power supplies out there are 3, 5, or 12 volts... some are ac some are dc and you need to match the fan voltage requirement...the current rating (ma or A , 1000ma=1A) needs to be at least what the fan is marked but there is no maximum number, it can be a bigger transformer. The fan will only 'draw' as much current as it needs, it just needs to be "big enough".....

and if all else fails go to radio shack down there on Crestwood...is it still on Crestwood...
