Happens to me all the time. I used to worry, but it always went away by the next day. HTH. Keep us posted.

The first Hippo I had (the one that jumped) would break out with a couple of ich spots when we did our small weekly water changes! It would always go away within the next day or two, but they DO seem to be extra sensitive to even the most mundane changes. I still find it kind of odd that my bigger Hippo hasn't shown any signs of ich - as I know she's got to be stressed, but I've got bigger problems with her not eating! The smaller one I have gets them every once in awhile, but they also go away within a day or so. I'm sure your Hippos will fight it off quickly, especially since they are good eaters.

Hippo's are easy to stress...I have a couple of cleaner shrimp that help also.
