I have kept several Clown triggers for 12 years, I keep them for two years and trade them in for a small juv. because they get too aggressive. My latest Clown is at Aquatics Warehose on consignment. He kept my 10" Queen Angel from eating, just like the last two. I saw a clown once with a Emp. Angel that the person had for 6 years and had raised them from Juv. status and they did great together.
