Anyone have luck with these laying eggs and then the baby snails surviving? I have one leaving eggs (so I think) in a drunk driving swerving line pattern all over my glass.

I had the same thing happen, nothing came of it, that I have noticed anyhow, and I have broken that tank down, so I guess I will never know.
"Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words - "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean ? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind." ~ Jack Handey

I've been contemplating setting up a tank with live rock, cheap lights and air stone/pump, and siphoning out snail eggs (Cerith sp.) into that tank next time mine produce, to see how easy they are to raise. Anyone else try this with any snail species? Any success?

I have pretty good luck with Nerite and Cerith snails reproducing in captivity. Leroy at GARF has told me that about 5% of larvae will survive. The remainder are eaten or taken out by skimmers, etc. I usually find the baby snails in my overflows.

    Got a couple other mysteries:
They look like spider egg sacks and are attached to the live rock. You can see the eggs inside them, they literally look just like small round cob web sacks. I also have a slime looking growth on so branch LR, looks like sheets of ice on a sidewalk.
