    Default 5 gal Nano

How much stuff can i put into a 5 gal hex? I mean livestock.

Ive got about 13lbs of liverock, 3 snails and two hermits. ive got a filter made out of a 5 gal bucket with one side containg bioballs and the other side will have macroalgae in it.

Other people are telling my not to put any fish in there, but im hoping for another opinion. Also what types of corals are recommended?

there are some REALLY small gobies you might be able to put in there, but I can't htink of much else.

A watchman goby and tiger pistol shrimp would be pretty cool.
or one jawfish (either pearly, bali-tiger, or blue spotted)
or a pair of neon gobies
    or one springer's dottyback
or one clown of the smaller species (ocellaris, pink skunk)
or one yellow or blue assessor basslet
or one damsel = very inexpensive I like the Allen's, and pink smith damsels

    or
    or
    or. . . . .

One fish is definitely doable in a 5 gallon, you just have to pick (the fish) carefully, be very careful not to overfeed, and keep up with your water changes. I'd change at least one gallon a week.

Honestly, go with small gobies..nanos are hard to keep, everything is in the risk of fluctiating more than a biggert tank..dont go with any clowns of any type, they really need swimming room..being a clownfish lover myself..i can honestly tell you they like room to swim..damsels..you could try..they are very cheap and never heard of any picking at any corals..coralwise. well..zooanthids..mushrooms..it all depends on your lighting..good luck
