wireless network ?

I have a router and both my PC and laptop connect to the internet wirelessly. I am trying to create a network so I can access info from PC on the laptop. I had one going at my previous address, but the PC was connect hardline to the router. Is this the reason it worked over there and not here. I am going to creat home or small office network and following the instructions but nothing. Last night I was able to get the PC to brouse the laptop files, but not the other way around. Today, neither will work. It keeps telling me I don't have permissions. WTH can I do?

Is there a firewall installed? I had problems until I played with it.

i tried disabling the firewall completely and nothing

make sure you setup a share on both the laptop and PC right click the HD....

Holy cow....i don't know WTH I did, but it works now. Thanks for everyone's help.
