Argh! User error leads to large dKH/Ca swing
I had a blond moment yesterday and made a math error when buffering my topoff water...result is that I significantly overbuffered the tank. DKH went from 6 to 9 in about 24 hours, Ca has dropped from off the charts to 450. How much trouble should I expect this to cause my animals? Tank has a bunch of xenia (elongata and pom-pom), one branching hammer, some zoos, a flower anemone, and of course some fish, snails & hermits. Worst part is Deb and I are leaving for a short vacation today, so I won't be around to make sure levels stabilize now that I've caught my error. Are my corals likely to make it?
