    Default 75 gallon weight

    does anybody know how much the average 75 gallon tank weighs? just the tank and water, no stand or lights

    The water weighs 8.5/lb. per gallon. That's 637.5 lbs. What about the weight of sand and rock? Check a tank website like Oceanic and see what the shipping weight is for the tank. I'm guessing about 100 lb.
