Alex, I feel for you man, went through a similar problem over christmas.
(Some punk tried to steel my wheels (litterally wheels, not slang for ride) and ran off without finishing the job, I ended up driving on it and doing some damage to my ride.)

Anyhow, as far as Eco Terrorists, I agree, they would have hit a dealership, probably a mistaken identity grudge thing. Bastards.

Eco-Terrorist organizations (in the US ELF is the worst (Evironmental Liberation Front) their organizational structure is so loose it is impossible for the FBI to track all their cells, and when they hit, for instance, a hummer dealership, it's more than paint thinner, vehicles are usually sprayed with lighter fluid and burned as well, these guys are nut jobs. Oh, and if you do a search on ELF to find out more about them, I would make sure you don't go to an actual ELF sponsored web site, It would not suprise me in the least if there was a little bit of tracking going on there.
