    Default need to borrow - digital camera

    I need to borrow someone's digital camera fr a few hours to take some pictures of my tank for the TOTM. I had arrangements to borrow someone else's camer... but haven't come through for me. PLMK... thanks!

    Also,... I will be happy to offer who ever loans me their camera some free frags! Thanks!

    You can borrow mine. I have a Canon Powershot A85 that does a pretty good job. It won't do macro shots very well but I think it will do the job you want. I am working from home today, so I will PM you with my telephone numbers.
    135 gallon reef and 29 gallon mini-reef.

    when you borrow a camera like that don't you have to have their CD to download the program so your computor can see the hardware your going to download? just a question cause i'm not really into all that :? :?

    I can't speak for any other brand but my Sony doesn't need software to download the pics to the computer. You do need a USB hookup and some type of photo editing software to resize and crop though.
    Just FYI since you didn't really know.

    Most of the newer camera's will auto install in WinXP.
    50gal cube in the works.

    no installation needed, you just plug it in and XP recognizes the camera as a digital storage device, just like a USB memory fob/jump drive so on... very cool. Can't wait to see your tank.
