Psychic Connection with Tank?

Well, I woke up this morning for no apparent reason at 4:30. Sitting up in bed I said, what's that watter dripping noise? :o :o :o

I have now experienced my first snail induced flood, one of those replumbing jobs I have put off! A snail got into my drain in the frag tank and about 10g of water ended up on the floor.

If I hadn't woken up when I did, it could have been MUCH worse! It couldn't have been overflowing for more than 10-20 minutes.

So, is a reef tank like having children - the parent becomes very "in tune" with the subject of their attention?

I am always wondering what is going on in my tank when I am not at home. I might try to add a video feed in the future. You know you have gone over the top when you add video. Actually I guess I went over the top a while back.
