    Default job hunting

just thought I'd post it here, you never know who lurks on these boards. I'm getting ready to make my move to Austin. we will be there next week looking at houses and doing job interviews. If anyone knows of any openings for a computer guy, please let me know. I haven't had much luck yet. When I say computer guy, I can do anything from simple maintenance all the way up to network engineering and administration. I'm not big into DBA Programming, but I can do it. If any of you run across anything, please let me know.
    Thanks
    Pickle

I think with the number of (ex)Network Admins and support personal etc on this site, we could create our own San Antonio/Austin + metro area computer/network service company.

Good luck with the job search. I keep my ear to the ground.

you can always get a contractor gig at AMD (volt) or Dell (spherion) to tide you over. I can get you contact info if you decide to give that a shot. Jobs range in pay and duration, so you can always find something.

phage, where can I get more info on that? All I'm trying to do is get to Austin at this point, once I'm there I can find my ideal job. I just need a job to hold me over until I can get there and get settled.
