Tile or Wood flooring?

The only problem with getting it stained is the cement needs to be as flawless as possible. Then it looks no different than tile.

I re-did a kitchen and the whole time I was there thought the customer had 4' x 4' tile (which I thought was odd) until I had to get on my knees and realized it was stained. Keep in mind it was done in 2-4 shades with borders and patterns. Ill see if I can dig up a picture.

go with tile... i have had a laminate floor in my house for 2 years and yes it still looks great but if i had
my choice i would go with a tile floor. if you do, make sure its a porciline tile they are harder and the color goes all the way through. so if you do chip it theres a good chance it wont show.

SA and could get you a deal on some tile. the thing it that they only have 2 colors and there 12x12s.
