Check with Larry (Instar). He's a nudibranch breeder. To be honest, there's probably not a lot you can do in a tank your size. The larva will probably get eaten or taken out by the filtration system. A lot of nudi egg sacks are fairly fragile and get broken up in a community tank. What kind of nudi is it?

Hi,
What did your nudibranch egg sack look like. I got a pair and suddenly in a patch of hair algae I found a circular jelly looking mass of opaque goo. Is that what you have?

It is actualy a lettuce slug, and yes it laid a spiraling egg pattern on a rock with some hair algae. I turned off one of the power heads. but i am wondering if i should remove the wrasse or any other critters, or put the eggs into a seperate tank. or just let nature take its course.

I was told my purple did the same thing, it coiled up on the glass, and left a white/cream colored spiral in its place that lasted for a few days. The slugs dont need their eggs furtilized? I figured they went to waste because of no fertilization, but I never looked into it.

Nudibranchs are hermaphrodites.
