Okay, thanks for pointing out my bugs. I can't believe I got those stinking mites. I have had a frag or two die recently. hmmmm. I'm going to need some advice on how to destroy them and not kill my tank. Could somebody who has treated them send me a PM with the medication I need to get and some instructions?
I'm taking down the tank because I'll be moving. Luckily I should have about a month of overlap so I should be able to set up my new tank, let it run for a month and then slowly move everything over. I think this way I should be fine and won't lose anything. I'll be setting up a 75, or 90 gallon so that will be a nice size for me. I'm going to try and live without a sump because I hate them and have done fine without one. I know they're great for some but I'll probably just build a hang on back refugium for the bigger tank. I don't plan on having very many fish so I think I'll be fine. Anybody think this is bad?
BA the blue, green fuzzy is a type of pavona, but I don't know which one. I got it from aquarium sales and it's been a great coral, very hardy. I definitly like it much more than the other, more cornflakey type of pavona.
The camera is an Olympus C-4040 but it's been replaced by the C-5050 and then another one. The key is I use a lens kit to get good magnification on top of using the macro mode. Having a camera that allows you to attach lenses is really helpful. This camera also does a good job of reproducing the colors and not looking too blue. I don't have to tinker with it much at all.
In case anybody cares, I only use B-ionic, and a little DT's. Also use Aquacraft salt.
